SUBSTANCE: high speed transport system includes at least one transport tube having at least one track on at least one capsule, configured for moving between stations along at least one said tube, a propulsion system which is adapted for driving at least one said capsule in the tube, a levitation system configured for levitation of capsule inside the tube, and at least one sealing means arranged along at least one said tube and configured to create air lock in at least one said tube. In embodiments, the sealing means can include a shut off valve and/or an air bag.

EFFECT: possibility to depressurize certain portions of the transport system tube for providing access to said portions for maintenance or emergency procedures is created.
