FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a transport system for air transportation of people and cargo. According to the method for air transportation of people and cargo, predominantly using at least one aerial vehicle, the drive whereof is located fully or partially outside of said aerial vehicle, at least one ground traction vehicle and at least one towed aerial on-board vehicle are used. Also used is a towing rope with end fastening links, connecting the ground traction vehicle and the on-board aerial vehicle. The towing rope therein is connected/disconnected to/from the aerial vehicle and/or to/from the ground vehicle at either end of the towing rope.
EFFECT: efficiency of air transportation of people and cargo at long distances is increased and safety thereof is simultaneously ensured as a result.
