FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: device for production of porous granulated ammonium nitrate includes a drum installed at angle of inclination α to a level, with a hollow axle, with a jacket for liquid heat carrier and the possibility for circulation of liquid heat carrier along the drum axis, a dosing feeder and a loading manifold for delivery of granulated ammonium nitrate, an external heat-protective casing with viewing window, exhaust devices for air withdrawal from the heat-protective casing, a discharge hatch provided in the drum bottom. In the drum, there are 2 to 4 hollow distributing nozzles made of different lobe shape, with two-lobed, three-lobed or four-lobed cross-section in their base and defined ratio of lobe profile concavity to the length of the nozzle lobe. The resulting ammonia nitrate has improved microstructural characteristics of the granules by providing a better flow of bulk material flow and increasing the heat exchange surface.
EFFECT: increased stability and improved explosives properties of simplest granulated explosives.
