FIELD: chemistry; blasting operations.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of explosive substances (ES) based on ammonium nitrate (AN) of various granulometric composition, made at blasting sites, and can be used in mining, construction and special blasting operations. Disclosed is a method of producing an explosive based on ammonium nitrate, involving mechanized charging by modern mixing-charging machines, characterized by mechanical grinding of granular ammonium nitrate, further mixing thereof with oil products (and/or other combustible components). For grinding granular ammonium nitrate one uses grinding device 6 installed directly in mixing-charging machine before mixing screw 3, which allows to grind ammonium nitrate immediately before mixing and charging. Grinding device consists of housing, shaft on remote bearing assemblies with turned knots (not shown), with shutter 7, which enables to control degree of grinding immediately before mixing and charging, hydraulic drive from hydraulic system of mixing-charging machine through vehicle power take-off box, duration of grinding is installed to produce ammonium nitrate (ammonium nitrate) with specified granulometric composition. By adding to the existing circuit the grinding device, AC 6 with shutter 7, which enables to control the degree of grinding immediately before mixing and charging, it is possible to obtain an explosive with improved explosive characteristics.

EFFECT: technical result of invention implementation consists in improvement of explosive characteristics of explosive substance, improvement of efficiency of blasting operations using explosives with different detonation characteristics based on crushed ammonium nitrate of various dispersity, reduced cost, wider field of use of explosives made at blasting sites.
