FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: mixing method consisting in organizing cross-injection of the additive component into separate streams of treated stream is realized in a fluid jet mixing device comprising a housing with a flow chamber for the treated stream and an additional component inlet connected thereto. In the device, separate jet straightening channels located in the flow chamber are made of tubes, uniformly distributed throughout the cross section of mixer housing, providing a calm flow regime of the main stream, and the input nozzle of the additional component is connected to the annular space formed by the outer surface of the tubes and the inner surface of the cylindrical parts of the housing. The tubes of flow chamber have inlets, diameter, shape, quantity and mutual arrangement of which is determined from the condition for achieving optimal mixing characteristics uniformly distributed over the surface of the tubes through which the additional component in the form of free flooded jets with a turbulent flow regime comes from housing intertube space into the tube space, distributed on separate channels and mixing with individual jets of the processed stream.
EFFECT: increasing efficiency of technological operations of dehydration and desalting.
