FIELD: oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises settling unit that receives the vertical baffles arranged in series and made of a sheet material. The baffle is vertical under the interface between oil and water and has a slope to the inlet for the water-oil emulsion above the interface. The vertical section of the baffle is dummy. The baffles are arranged so that the slots of the subsequent baffle are turned with respect to the slots in the previous one. The coalescent stack that overlaps the section of the settling unit is mounted downstream of the baffles. The device has mixer provided with mixing insert made of truncated hollow cones whose small bases face each other. The mixer is provide with branch pipes for supplying oil and water and is connected with the collector for distributing emulsion through a pipeline. The collector is mounted upstream of the baffle in the bottom section of the settling unit.
