FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: elastic bandage with indication of the degree of tension is suggested. It is made of elastic fabric on which at least one area with an image changing its appearance when bandage is stretched. In this case, elastic fabric has a basic repetitive weave. At that, weft thread is shifted one step from both sides from image area. Distance between the warp threads located in weaving process next to each other and on one shaft, in image area is less than in rest of the fabric.

EFFECT: invention makes possible to extend life of elastic bandage by reducing the wear of image area that informs the user of the degree of tension of the elastic bandage.
