SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and an apparatus for remote control of an operating state of an electrical appliance. Method comprises: a user terminal acquiring action data generated by a wearable device according to a user action; user terminal generating a remote control signal for controlling a household appliance according to the action data on movement and transmission by the user terminal of the remote control signal to the household appliance, remote control signal being used for controlling the operating state of the household appliance. This invention solves the problem in the related art of cumbersome operating steps in a remote control method. Therefore, a household appliance can be remotely controlled by a user action only through a wearable device without a button needing to be pressed.

EFFECT: technical result is providing simplification of the user interface.
