FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of controlling one or more luminaires, which are configured to illuminate at least part of surrounding environment occupied by a user, and/or one or more domestic or office electric appliances available in such environment. For this purpose, apparatus is provided, comprising a transmitter for controlling one or more lamps which illuminate at least part of the environment of the user; and a controller configured to provide control functionality for controlling the luminaires by a transmitter; wherein controller is configured to receive altitude measurement from altimeter located on user figure, and based on said provision of said control functionality depending on the height of the user relative to the height of each of the luminaires.
EFFECT: technical result is structuring and simplifying control for users based on determination of information on its location.
