SUBSTANCE: respirator comprises a body having a peripheral portion, a filter material forming at least a portion of the body, and a sealing gasket disposed at a peripheral portion of the body along at least part of its length. The gasket is made of a sheet of flexible elastomeric material, and its transverse profile has a projection in the direction from the peripheral part of the housing.
