SUBSTANCE: respirator comprises a body having a peripheral portion, a filter material forming at least a portion of the body, and a sealing gasket located on the peripheral portion of the body along at least a part of its length. At that, the sealing gasket is made of a flexible elastomeric material, and its transverse profile has a protrusion in the direction from the peripheral part of the body with a folding point located on the protrusion, with respect to which the sealing gasket is foldable.
