FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method is developed for preparation of a catalyst for additive curing of silicone rubbers in the form of a platinum complex (0) solution, which consists in taking hydrogen hexachloroplatinate solution, 1,3-divinyl-1,1,3,3-tetramethyldisiloxane or 2,4,6,8-tetravinyl-2,4,6,8-tetramethyltetrasiloxane and sodium hydrogencarbonate as components. A solution of hydrogen hexachloroplatinate is preheated in isopropanol at 55±2°C for 80-120 minutes before selective reduction to propylene platinum (II) trichloride complexes, a 5-18.7-fold molar excess of the modifying ligand is added represented by compounds such as dimethyl maleate, trans-1,2-bis(2-pyridyl)ethylene, dimethyl fumarate, 1,3,5,7-tetramethyltetrasiloxane, diethyl acetyl dicarboxylate, 7-azaindole, 2,2'-bipyridyl, followed by heating at a temperature of 55-60°C for 6 hours. Further, a vinyl-containing siloxane from the series of 1,3-divinyl-1,1,3,3-tetramethyldisiloxane or 2,4,6,8-tetravinyl-2,4,6,8-tetramethyltetrasiloxane with 4-8-fold excess of vinyl groups by quantity in terms of platinum (0) is added, the mixture is heated at a temperature of 60±2°C for 6 hours, neutralized with sodium bicarbonate with stirring, filtered and the precipitate is washed with isopropanol to obtain filtrate as the desired product. The catalyst obtained by this process, the composition of which comprises a vinylsiloxane complex of platinum (0), 1,3-divinyl-1,1,3,3-tetramethyldisiloxane or 2,4,6,8-tetravinyl-2,4,6,8-tetramethyltrasiloxane, is characterized in that the vinylsiloxane complex contains a modifying ligand from the series of dimethyl maleate, trans-1,2-bis(2-pyridyl)ethylene, dimethyl fumarate, 1,3,5,7-tetravinyl-1,3,5,7-tetramethyltrasiloxane, diethylacetyl dicarboxylate, 7-azaindole, 2,2'-bipyridyl, the catalyst being a 2.0-2.8% solution in isopropanol by platinum weight.
