FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing a catalyst for the cleavage of high boiling products and/or a pyran fraction for the synthesis of isoprene, which includes metal oxides of Al, Fe, Mg, Ca, Na, K, Ti, and optionally oxide B, is described by mixing various compounds containing the corresponding oxides and/or substances from which, when properly processed, these oxides are produced, the resulting mass is dried and calcined, followed by sorting and packaging the desired product. The method is characterized in that drying is carried out first at a temperature of 20-95°C for 10-80 hours, then at 100-210°C for 1.5-15 hours with subsequent heating at a temperature of 210-900°C for 1.5-20 hours and calcinating at a temperature of 900-1050°C for 0.5-24 hours.
EFFECT: contact time in the laboratory is increased, the high conversion and yield of the target products are maintained.
