SUBSTANCE: invention relates to new biphenyl derivatives of formula 1
, isomers thereof or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, wherein R1 is hydrogen, halogen, hydroxy, unsubstituted C1-C6alkyl, C1-C6alkyl substituted by fluorine or C1-C6alkoxy; each of R2, R3 and R4 independently is hydrogen, halogen, unsubstituted amino, amino, substituted by methyl, nitro, piano, hydroxy, unsubstituted C1-C6alkyl, C1-C6alkyl substituted by fluorine or hydroxy, unsubstituted C1-C6alkoxy, C1-C6alkoxy substituted by fluorine or -C(O)R6; R5 is hydrogen or C1-C6alkyl; n is 0 or 1; and R6 is hydrogen or amino. Methods for preparation of formula 1 compounds are also provided. New derivatives of formula 1 PBB are antagonists of muscarinic M3 receptor and thus suitable for prevention or treatment of a disease, selected from the group consisting of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, irritable bowel syndrome, urinary incontinence, rhinitis, spastic colitis, chronic cystitis, Alzheimer's disease, senile dementia, schizophrenia, glaucoma, gastroesophageal reflux disease, arrhythmia and heart hypersalivation syndromes.
EFFECT: improved compound properties.
