FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device contains an information processing device that contains at least one electrode embedded in the frontal contact block mounted on the head of the display, adapted to generate at least one signal specific to the user's eyes blinking, which characterizes at least one myogenic capacity belonging to the eye blinking. The said at least one electrode comprises the first electrode disposed in a close proximity to the right eye of the user and the second electrode disposed in a close proximity to the left eye of the user. The said at least one electrode further comprises the first reference electrode for the first electrode and the second reference electrode for the second electrode disposed near the midpoint between the first electrode and the second electrode; and a processing circuit adapted to receive the said at least one signal and to detect the user's eye blinking based on the said at least one signal. The processing circuit is adapted to control the operation of the display based on the detected eye blinking. Also, the device comprises a non-volatile computer-readable medium storing a machine-readable program for implementing the information processing method to control the head-mounted display by the eye blinking. The information processing method for controlling the head-mounted display by the eyes blinking, comprises the stages at which: at least one signal referring to the eye blinking of the user is received, the eye blinking of the user is detected based on one signal and the display operation is controlled, based on the detected eye blinking.
EFFECT: invention allows to accurately detect the eye blinking of the user, based on the myogenic capacity of the signal and to ensure the UI operation in which the hand is not used, based on the combination of the blinking processes of the left and right eyes.
