FIELD: electric power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power industry, namely to the methods of mounting markers fixed on wires and ground wires of overhead transmission lines using unmanned aerial vehicles. Method consists in performing a sequence of the following operations, for example, for the version with a marker in the form of a detachable ball-shaped element 1 in manual control mode or in automatic control mode by means of an on-board computer, a radio signal is sent and adjustable grippers 2 hold marker 1, detachable parts 4, 5 of marker 1 are fixed in the open state by means of clamps 6, a radio signal is sent and the electric motors with propeller screws 7 are activated, marker 1 is lifted and transported to its installation site on an overhead power line.
EFFECT: proposed method makes it possible to significantly simplify the process of mounting markers fixed on wires and ground wires of overhead transmission lines.
