FIELD: electric power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric power industry, and more specifically to methods of assembling markers fixed on wires and lightning protective cables of overhead transmission lines using unmanned aerial vehicles. Above markers are used to warn pilots of aircraft on passing of wires and lightning protection cables of overhead power lines, as well as to prevent collision of birds with wires and lightning protection cables. Method of marker installation is performed by means of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). Adjustable grippers fixed on UAV load-bearing structure retain marker, then radio signal includes electric motors with propeller-type propellers, marker is lifted and transported to mounting point. After the UAV positioning over the wire or lightning protection cable, the grip is released and the marker with the wedge-shaped slot in the lower part is released, performing the initial gripping of the wire or rope with the marker, with subsequent automatic fixation of the marker by means of clamps.
EFFECT: technical result consists in easier gripping, positioning and fixation of the marker.
