FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas supply system operation, in articular to organization and carrying out of non-destructive testing, and can be used to create optimal modes of movement of flaw detectors for ethane pipelines in in-line inspection. Technical task of the method for providing a movement mode of an intelligent pig in an ethane pipeline, including the movement of an intelligent pig at a given uniform speed, introduction of a intelligent pig into the launch (reception) chamber, replacement of air in the launch (reception) chamber with equalization of pressure in launch (reception) chamber, extension of the intelligent pig from the launch (reception) chamber, extension of the intelligent pig from the launch (reception) chamber, impact on the structure of the intelligent pig, partially overlapping the cross section, movement of the intelligent pig by force, created by the differential pressure, is achieved by the fact that the method is carried out in the following stages: at the first stage, with closed tap cranes 14 and 24, communications between the ethanol pipeline and gas pipeline are installed through spark plugs, through the spark plugs are installed with the installation of control valves 15 and 23, and mobile receiver connected through back-flow valves 26 and 27, at the second stage, the spark plugs are muffled at the points of jumper connection and plug valves 1, 2, 5, 18, 20, plug valves 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 11, 22, 21 are constantly closed, at the third stage, the plug valve 17 is opened, ethane is discharged between valves 17 and 18 and the intelligent pig is injected to the ethane pipeline space through launch (reception) chamber 28, at the fourth stage, the plug valve 17 is closed and plug valves 20, 16, 19 are opened to equalize the pressure between plug valves 17 and 18 and the pressure behind plug valve 18, at the fifth stage plug valve 19 is closed, and when plug valves 14, 24, 26, 27 are opened, by operation of plug valves 15 and 23, a pressure drop between plug valves 17 and 18 and the ethane pipeline space behind plug valve 18 to 2-3 atm is achieved, at the sixth stage, at the end of the surveyed section, a plug valve is opened to ensure discharge of gas mixture into the atmosphere and necessary pressure drop, at the seventh stage, with closed plug valve 19, plug valves 18 is opened, adjusting the pressure behind plug valve 18, a constant drop of 5 atm is achieved, at the eighth stage, passage of the intelligent pig is adjusted by adjusting the plug valves 15, 23, 26, 27. Sequence of actions with closing and opening the plug valves, as well as bleeding and parallel operation of the mobile receiver, create additional conditions for smoothing the pulsation and provide equalization of pressure, the possibility of carrying out in-line diagnostics without additional funds (technical, financial, etc.). Possibility of returning the gas mixture back to the gas pipeline leads to energy savings and minimization of environmental pollution, and the replacement of ethane with cheaper methane provides reduced operating costs.
EFFECT: technical task of the proposed method for providing the mode of movement of an intelligent pig in an ethane pipeline is to create a method for organizing the mode of movement of intelligent pigs with regulation of movement speed during the in-line inspection (diagnostics) of the ethane pipeline, depending on the conditions of laying the ethane pipeline and a parallel line of the gas pipeline using the available communications, stop valves and mobile receiver.
