FIELD: gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: gas pumping unit is connected via gas pipelines with inlet and outlet reservoirs of a gas-pumping station connected with shutoff valves, respectively, to low and high pressure sections of the main gas pipeline, comprises a centrifugal gas compressor connected with feed and discharge gas pipelines to inlet and outlet reservoirs, respectively, by means of shutoff valves, and connected with a shaft to a gas turbine engine. In the gas turbine engine an air compressor is connected via pipelines with an air receiver through an air cleaner, and a power turbine is connected with an exhaust pipe to a recuperator of exhaust gases heat. Outlet pipeline of the turbine starter is connected to the inlet reservoir and is equipped with a check valve and a pressure gauge installed in the gas line at the inlet to the inlet reservoir. Candle branch pipe with shutoff valves are connected to this gas line ahead of the check valve. Feed gas pipeline to supply the turbine starter is connected with the outlet reservoir and is equipped with a pressure gauge at the outlet of the outlet reservoir, a gas pressure reducer and a gas cleaning filter. Feed gas pipeline to supply the gas compressor and the feed gas pipeline to supply the combustion chamber of the gas turbine engine are connected in parallel to the inlet reservoir with a gas line equipped with a gas cleaning filter. Feed gas pipeline to supply the gas compressor is equipped with a gas cooler and shutoff valves. Feed gas pipeline gas to supply the combustion chamber is passed through the cavity of the recuperator and is equipped with a control valve. Outlet gas pipeline of the gas compressor is equipped with a check valve and is connected to the feed gas pipeline to supply the turbine starter.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at reducing emission of the main gas pipeline to the atmosphere at start-up of gas pumping units polluting the environment.
