SUBSTANCE: method of measuring power losses from reactive currents in three-phase transformers and four-wire lines is that the power factor (cos) is measured with a symmetrical linear load in a three-phase transformer (four-wire line)ϕ,phase current and from the measurement results determine the power loss factor from reactive currents by the formula.

EFFECT: ability to determine individual power losses from reactive currents in three-phase transformers and four-wire power lines, a minimum set of material and technical means.
