SUBSTANCE: method for measuring power losses from nonsinusoidal currents in three-phase transformers and four-wire power transmission lines consists in measuring in nonlinear load in three-phase transformer (four-wire line) the effective current value of the 1st harmonic, total coefficient of odd and even harmonics, except for harmonics multiple of three, and the total coefficient of harmonics multiple of three, and according to the measurement results determining the coefficient of power losses from nonsinusoidal currents by the formula.

EFFECT: invention allows to determine the individual power losses from nonsinusoidal currents in three-phase transformers and four-wire power transmission lines.
