FIELD: tool engineering.

SUBSTANCE: means for preparing test gas mixtures by means of dynamic dilution of gases are organised. A body is used, in which gas mixture generator unit is placed, the latter is configured to contain initial target gas flow rate controller, diluent gas flow rate controller, and a mixing chamber. Provision is made for realisation of the mode for preparation of gas mixtures. A flow switch is used and placed in the body, which is configured for switching the direction of the gas mixture flow leaving the gas mixture generator unit. A gas flow metre unit is provided with gas pressure contoller containing a gas pressure contoller, a measuring channel for measuring the volumetric flow rate of the measured gas flow, and comprising a flow line for passing the measured gas flow, as well as flow mark gas. The flow system comprises a gas delay line arranged in the flow direction in the order of reference, a first detector designed to measure gas concentration of flow mark in the measured gas flow, a measuring vessel, a second detector designed to measure gas concentration of flow mark in the measured gas flow, and a module for pulse input of flow mark gas, whose output is connected to the input of the gas delay line, a temperature sensor for measuring temperature in the measured gas flow and connected to the output of the gas delay line, a first absolute pressure sensor connected to the first detector, a second absolute pressure sensor connected to the second detector. In this case, the output of the flow mark gas pressure controller is connected to the input of the flow mark gas of pulse input module. The output of the initial target gas flow controller is connected to one mixing chamber input, the output of initial target gas input is connected to the other mixing chamber input, and the output of the mixing chamber is connected to the input of the flow switch. In addition, provision is made for realisation of calibration mode, when the initial target gas flow rate controller is calibrated according to the initial target gas, and for realisation of selection of either calibration mode or preparation mode for gas mixtures.

EFFECT: it is possible to use multicomponent initial target gases for dilution and with volume fraction of target components to 100 percent, with small error for reproduction of volume fraction of targeted components in the test gas mixture.
