FIELD: wood industry.
SUBSTANCE: technological machine comprises a cutting device, a sensor system, a storage unit, a processor, and a response system. The sensor system is located near the cutting device. The response system is functionally connected to the cutting device. Pre-programmed commands and a spatial recognition algorithm are stored in the storage unit. The processor is functionally connected to the response system, the sensor system and the storage unit. By means of the sensory system, a part of the human body is detected in the sensitivity zone correlated with the cutting device of the technological machine. When a part of the human body is detected, its position in the sensitivity zone is determined by performing the spatial recognition algorithm by means of the processor. Based on a certain position of the human body part by means of the processor, an unsafe situation is detected, and the response system is activated to reduce the threat posed by the unsafe situation.
EFFECT: simplifying the design and increasing the device reliability.
