FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system (10) for emergency braking of a production machine which is intended for abrupt braking of a rotating shaft (16) of the production machine and which comprises at least one brake drum (12) and at least one brake block (18) that are put into braking contact with each other due to centrifugal force generated by the shaft (16) rotation. Additionally the system (10) comprises at least one resetting device (75) which provides for the movement of brake blocks (18) in the direction of their initial position after braking takes place.
EFFECT: braking of a production machine is provided without direct contact with a working tool.
