FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: prototype, including a scanning antenna array and a phased array antenna (PAA) of a through type is used in the invention. The prototype makes it possible to generate and radiate pulsed signals that power in N2 times exceeds the power input to one element of the scanning array, where N is the number of elements of the scanning antenna array. However, the energy potential of the prototype is limited by the area of the effective opening surface of the passive type PAA.

EFFECT: with purpose to increase the energy potential in the prototype introduced dual-reflector antenna, through feed phased array antenna performs the role of the irradiator of the sub reflector of this antenna, the transmitting aperture of this phased array antenna is focused on the point different from the focus point of the main reflector of the double-reflector antenna, the effective surface of a double-reflector antenna can exceed by orders of magnitude the effective surface of the phased array antenna of the prototype, allowing proportionally increase the energy potential of the device.
