FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in radio detection and ranging systems, communication systems and other devices where series of radio pulses is used. Scanning phased array antenna (FAA) is used as transmission type feed element of FAA with optical feeding which are also provided with delay lines. While scanning, feed pattern irradiates receiving FAA element in series with optical feeding inducing pulse signals in them. Delay lines are designed to make the pulse signal to achieve simultaneously all radiating FAA elements with optical feeding. Irradiating pulse power of signal may achieve the value , where P0 - continuous signal power supplied to scanning phased antenna array, - width of scanning band, - width of scanning FAA feed pattern.
EFFECT: generation of continuous signal irradiated by scanning FAA, pulse signal with pulse power exceeding continuous signal power.
