FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: steam-powered diesel made in the form of a rotary internal combustion engine (ICE) comprises a cylindrical body 1 rigidly fixed to it by the side part of the body 2 with a cylindrical projection to form an annular chamber 3 in which the pistons 4 of the rotor 5 fixed to the shaft 6. The profiled disks 7 with negative cams 8 effecting the spring loaded pushers 9, with the heads 10 and the rollers 11 installed in the plug 12 are rigidly attached to the shaft. In the cylindrical body, an inlet channel 13 for the atmospheric air and an outlet channel 14 for removing the combustion products are installed. In the combustion chamber 15 there is a nozzle, as well as an inlet 16 and an exhaust 17 valves. In the exhaust valve stem 18 installed in the sleeve 19, there is an axial hole 20, as well as radial holes 21 with a groove 22 configured to intermittently connect the stem axial bore to the OPC feed channel 23. A sprayer 25 is installed in the exhaust valve plate 24. Before the OPC supply channel, there is a hydrophore, the outlet of the hydrophore contains the OPC supply cutoff, the operation of which is related to the position of the rail of the high pressure fuel pump (HP pump).
EFFECT: simplified unit for supplying the cooling medium to the engine.
