SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for production and programming of ophthalmic lens made with the power supply capability, with a programmable carrier insert. Technical result is achieved by a method of programming ophthalmic lens. Method comprises the step of obtaining a set of programming parameters. In this case, the set of programming parameters determines the functionality of the ophthalmic lens in such a way that the functionality of the ophthalmic lens is individually customizable for the user. Then, a carrier insert is obtained. Moreover, the carrier insert is made with the ability to provide the functionality of ophthalmic lens. And the set of programming parameters is transferred to the carrier insert.

EFFECT: technical result is the enhanced equipment range.
