FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water and hydraulic engineering construction and can be used for hermetic sealing and joint repair of concrete and reinforced concrete elements of water-conducting hydraulic structures (dykes, aqueducts, tunnels, trays, etc.). Method of sealing water-conducting hydraulic structures involves the use of sealing element 2 in the form of anti-filtration harness, made of a perforated polymeric geomembrane 3 of 0.2 mm thick with a filler made of bentonite clays 4, and also a protective layer of liquid composition 5 based on polyethylene, which is applied to a defective area of concrete near and above the anti-filtration harness.
EFFECT: invention usage will provide more effective, reliable and long-term anti-filtration protection, eliminate water losses for filtration and concrete destruction near expansion joints, reduced possibility of emergencies and ensure trouble-free operation of a structure as a whole.
