LANDSLIDE SOLID MASS STRENGTHENING METHOD Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC E02B3/12

Abstract RU 2644955 C1

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method of landslide solid mass strengthening belongs to the field of land reclamation and may be used for reclamation of inadequacies. Method consists in the following. In the landslide crack zone, a mechanical drill installed on the vehicle frame drills holes 50–100 cm in diameter to the depth of the clay rocks of the water retainer, the distance between the wells is 5 m. Size of the borehole diameter is determined by the size of the root system of the seedlings, and the distance between the wells is the growth rate of the roots, which ensure their clamping for 2–3 years. In the wells are planted large seedlings of unpretentious fast-growing, capable of giving additional roots and intensively evaporating from the soil moisture of tree species, for example, of various species of poplars. To achieve high survival rate in the first year after planting seedlings, and preservation and ensuring intensive root growth in subsequent years, including subordinate ones, fill the wells with fertile soil that does not have saline and solonetzous toxic for woody plants. Immediately after planting, the soil in the wells is moistened, in order to prevent the landslide process from renewing to a value not exceeding its marginal field capacity. Growing under favorable conditions, the seedlings develop a deep and ramified root system, carrying out the biological drainage of the soil on both sides of the landslide crack, as a result of which the flow of underground runoff to the ground above the water can not be prevented from the territory located on the slope above the crack. In this case, the soil is not supersaturated with moisture and the waterproof does not become a sliding surface of the landslide solid masses.

EFFECT: increase the reliability of landslide solid mass strengthening.
