SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the design of furnaces used for individual construction, in particular to fireplaces from prefabricated units, and the way they are assembled. Fireplace includes a foundation mounted firebox with an entrance bounded on both sides by a portal, a frieze on the top and a grate on the bottom, a smoke chamber, connected to the firebox, countertops, a lining forming the interior space of the fireplace, and a mantelpiece. Fireplace is made of prefabricated units, installed without mortar and made with meeting surfaces, ensuring the connection of the blocks to each other with a geometrical closure using a tongue-and-groove joint. Also includes a method of a fireplace d assembly.

EFFECT: technical result is improvement of masonry quality, increase of strength and fire safety, reduction of production time.
