SUBSTANCE: invention refers to devices that perform the locking of the rotor of the flywheel motor in the magnetic suspension and can be used in space technology. Device for locking the rotor of the electric motor-flywheel in the magnetic suspension, contains two conical supports, at least one of which is can be rotated about its axis while being moved in the axial direction, the drive motor of the locking device, the rotor of which is mounted on the movable element, annular limiter of radial and angular movements of the rotor shaft, which during contact with the rotating rotor shaft in the mode, when power is dismissed from the electromagnetic supports and the drive motor of the arresting device, relocates the movable support in circumferential and axial directions until the movable support shaft rigidly contacts the rotor shaft of the flywheel motor and the shaft of the second support and then the rotor and shafts of both supports rotate together. Each support comprises the motor for rotating the support shaft, which, in case of functioning of the magnetic suspension and rotating rotor of the electric motor-flywheel, rotates the support shaft in the direction that coincides with the direction of rotation of the rotor, so that the angular speed of rotation of the support shaft is equal to or close to the angular velocity of rotation of the rotor shaft.
EFFECT: technical effect consists in improved reliability and longer life of the locking device.
