FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic solar panel cleaning systems. Solar panel cleaning device, comprising a power source connected to the solar panel, pollution control sensors and wires located on the surface of the solar panel, characterized in that the wires are oscillatable and intertwined with each other in the form of a grid mounted on the surface of the solar panel, while an AC source is used as a power source, and pollution control sensors are made in the form of wire tension sensors located along the entire outer edge of the wire grid. Method for automated cleaning of solar panels is also proposed.
EFFECT: invention provides an effective cleaning of the surface of the solar panel from snow, ice, debris and other objects interfering with the transformation of solar energy.
