FIELD: solar power.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to solar power, particularly to a heliostat apparatus. The heliostat apparatus is comprised of a support frame placed at a predetermined angle, a cleaning system comprised of a cleaning element movement unit, a drive with end sensors, an air flow generating apparatus, a main controller, an electrical battery, a power source for recharging thereof. The support frame is a movable part of the heliostat. The cleaning element movement unit in form of a wiper with a water cleaning method is installed on the base frame. Roller shutters with final position end sensors are located on top. The air flow generating apparatus is a fan with variable speed providing forced cooling of a radiator located under the photovoltaic elements. The radiator has an absorbent material ventilated by a fan for water evaporative cooling and a material moisture sensor. Positioning control of the support frame is executed using cable rods with an electric drive, a worm reducer and a cable tension sensor. Rain, shock and vibration, temperature sensors and an accelerometer are located on the support frame. An upper tank is installed on the edge of the support frame, wherein water flows by gravity from the tank through bistable valves to the surface of the cleaning elements and to the absorbent material of the radiator. A photovoltaic sensor of the position of the sun is also installed on the support frame. A controller with a real time clock, a modem, additional current and voltage sensors of photovoltaic elements measuring the readings from sensors and controlling the pumps, bistable valves, and electric drives, are located on the mast and the support thereof.
EFFECT: increased service life of modules, efficiency of converting radiation energy into electrical energy, and provided positioning of the apparatus in the sun, protection from severe environmental conditions, cleaning and cooling.
