SUBSTANCE: devices for removing contaminants from the front part of solar panels, including snow. A device for cleaning solar panels includes parallel guides installed on both sides of an inclined solar panel, a cleaning cart moved along the guides by an electric motor drive and control by position and load sensors. The guides are located along the sides of the solar panel and are equipped with upper and lower stops to prevent the cleaning cart from falling. On top, the solar panel is equipped with at least one guide roller for a corresponding flexible rod, which is connected at one end to a drive in the form of a shaft, and the other to a cleaning cart, located initially at the bottom of the guides and made in the form of a rigid transverse plate relative to the guides with a cleaning pad resting on the solar panel, and at least one load with a total mass that allows the cart to lower down from the top position under its own weight after lifting. The cart plate is equipped with a top cutting edge with a top inclined plane with an angle to the solar panel of 12-35° for cutting dirt and/or snow located on the solar panel without lifting it up. The guides are mounted protruding from the top of the solar panels to place the top edge of the cleaning pad in an up position above the top edge of the solar panel and force dirt and/or snow downwards under its own weight. If there is more than one weight, they are spaced evenly along the length of the cleaning cart plate.

EFFECT: simplification and weight reduction of the device for cleaning solar panels.
