FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering. Device for rolling stock of railways includes contact connections of small radius rods with large-radius bearings providing rolling. Two prismatic knife prisms are made with small radius rounds and are installed horizontally in four knife supports. Knife supports are made in the form of angular dihedral planes, terminating in a cylindrical surface of large radius. Oscillatory motion of the knives is realized at the contact points of the rolling friction force. Two supports are installed on the outside in the middle of the vertical spring beams and fixed on a plate rigidly connected to the side of the frame of the trolley. Internal two combined knife supports are movable and rigidly fixed on the rod. Hinges are connected to the axle of the wheel pair by means of an adjusting device with the possibility of causing vertical forces in the elastic power unit. Vertical efforts are directed against the impact on the cart from the railroad side.
EFFECT: requirements of protection from the environment are reduced, the weight and dimensions of the device are reduced.
