FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method for controlling capacitor bushings (2a, 2b, 2c) for a three-phase AC system, designed with a conductor (4), which is connected to one of the network wires (5a, 5b, 5c) of the AC system and comprises an electrically-conductive plate (3) that surrounds the conductor (4), comprises the stages at which an upper capacity (S0a, C0b, C0c) and a lower capacity (C1a, C1b, C1c) are defined for each capacitor bushing (2a, 2b, 2c). A measured voltage is registered at each capacitor bushing, which is applied between the corresponding plate (3) and the ground potential (13), and the actual capacitance is calculated, which depends on the corresponding measured voltage of the lower capacitance and the upper capacitance for each capacitor bushing. After which the mentioned capacities are compared and a control signal is generated, depending on the results of the capacity comparison. If the actual capacity changes, it can be concluded that the corresponding capacitor bushing is damaged.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of controlling the capacitor bushing state.
