FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: keyboard that allows to change images on keys, including: a keyboard with a plurality of keys with transparent housings; wherein a transparent housing includes a key cap and a bottom cover that covers a key cap; a press-on stand that is fitted to a bottom cover to transmit pressing movement when a user presses a key; a plurality of indication panels, each of which is located inside a transparent housing of each key, wherein indication panels may reproduce different sets of symbols based on control signals initiated by a user; the first additional partition made as a typing plate, connected to an indication panel with flexible connection element, wherein the first additional partition made as a typing plate receives data signals related to symbols on key indication panels, and processes data signals to display them on indication panels; a substrate for keys with plurality of protruded elements placed on its upper surface, wherein each protruded element is placed between a press-on stand and the first partition and this protruded elements are flattened when a press-on stand is pressed; a system control unit connected to the first partition made as a typing plate, wherein there are a digital control unit and a memory device in the system control unit, wherein a digital control unit processes control signals and selects data related to symbols from a data base stored within a memory device, and a digital control unit also transmits data signals to the first partition made as a typing plate; and a unit to control indication panels connected with a system control unit, that allows a user to optionally change images on keys by manipulating control signals transmitted to a system control unit.
