FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrument making field, in particular, to methods for checking differential-inductive pressure gauges. Verification method provides two options for use, depending on in which part of the characteristic the measurement error is detected: located below the operating pressure of the controlled environment, or in the section of the characteristic located above the pressure of the controlled medium. In both applications of the proposed verification method, the verified over-pressure sensor is connected to a test bed, having an reference measurement instrument to measure a unified output signal, over-pressure controller with a reference pressure gauge and a residual pressure controller with a reference vacuum gauge. One of the variants of the application of the proposed verification method is as follows. Bench pressure controller is connected to the negative camera. As the pressure in the negative chamber increases, the pressure difference, acting on the diaphragm, decreases and the readings of the controlled pressure sensor decrease. Measurement error in this section of the characteristic is determined by comparing the changes in the readings of the pressure sensor with the pressure change in the negative chamber. Change in over-pressure in the negative chamber is determined by means of a bench reference manometer, and the change in the readings of the reference pressure sensor is determined by means of a bench reference measuring instrument for measuring the unified signal. Another application of the proposed verification method is as follows. Bench residual pressure controller is connected to the negative camera. With the increase of rarefaction in the negative chamber, the pressure difference, acting on the diaphragm, increases, and the readings of the reference pressure sensor decrease. Measurement error in this section of the characteristic is determined by comparing the readings of the pressure sensor with the residual pressure in the negative chamber. Change in the residual pressure in the negative chamber is determined by means of a bench reference gauge, and the change in the readings of the controlled pressure sensor is determined by means of a bench-type measuring instrument for measuring the unified signal.
EFFECT: technical result - the possibility of performing verification without dismantling the pressure sensor, i_e_ if the pressure of the controlled medium acts in the positive chamber of the sensor.
