METHOD FOR EARLY DIAGNOSIS OF SYNDROME OF POSTOPERATIVE COGNITIVE DYSFUNCTION IN WOMEN AFTER EXTIRPATION OF UTERINE Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61B5/16 A61B5/00 G01N33/48

Abstract RU 2645938 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neurology, and can be used to diagnose postoperative cognitive dysfunction syndrome (PCDS) in women after peri-operative uterine extirpation. Number of studies are performed in the preoperative period of the initial cognitive status of CP1 and calculate CP1 by the formula CP1=O+CHP+FR+FW+DH+Sβ+Wc, where O is “orientation” test; CHR – test “presence of long-term pain syndrome”; FR – test “recognition of figures”; FW – test “remember 5 words”; DH – test “drawing hours”; Sβ – determination of whey protein S100β; Wc – “word on c” technique. Number of studies of cognitive status in the early postoperative period of CP2 and calculate CP2 by formula CP2=O+AP+FR+FW+DH+Sβ+Wc, where O is “orientation” test; AR – severity of pain after surgery; FR – test “recognition of figures”; FW – test “remember 5 words”; DH – test “drawing hours”; Sβ – determination of whey protein S100P; Wc – “word on c” technique. After that, the ratio of CP1 to CP2 is calculated, and if it is less than or equal to 1, there is no DAC, if ratio of CP1 to CP2 is greater than 1, early PDCD is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method allows timely appointment of treatment and prevent progression of cognitive impairment through definition of informative neuropsychological and laboratory indicators.
