SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer compositions based on a mixture of ethylene vinyl acetate rubber (EVA) and another polymer. The polymer composition based on the mixture of EVA and another polymer, which is an unsaturated polymer rubber, is used for insulation and sheath of electric cables and wires. The polymer composition contains a mixture of EVA with the polymer chain containing 40-80% of viniacetate and 20-60% of ethylene and an unsaturated polar rubber, organic peroxide, a vulcanization coagent, antioxidant, a technological additive in the form of a mixture of paraffin, stearin, and a derived class of amines, a filler, an organosilicon additive.

EFFECT: high physical and mechanical properties, resistance to thermal aging, resistance to swelling in petroleum products, tear resistance and absence of halogens in the structure of the main and auxiliary polymer.
