FIELD: construction materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of construction materials and can be used to produce tiles that have heat and sound insulation properties. Method for manufacturing heat and sound insulating construction material includes grinding, homogenizing a mixture of polymer waste and wood wastes in the form of sawdust at a temperature between 130 and 200 °C, charging the mixture into a mold and heating up to 230 °C within 10–15 minutes, while applying pressure up to 5 MPa and then cooling for an hour. Mixture of polymer wastes includes the wastes of polyethylene terephthalate, polyvinylchloride, polyethylene, natural rubber and phenolic plastics.
EFFECT: improved heat and sound insulation properties of construction material is provided.
