FIELD: woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking industry, in particular, to production of composite materials from crushed wood raw material. Birch bark is dried and milled, the cork layer is separated from the total bark weight and dried, a mixture of the composite in the form of a birch bark carpet and binder is formed, and hot pressing is performed. Wood filler used is ground birch bark in amount of 70 to 89.99 wt%, with moisture content of 6 to 16 wt%, and particle size of 150 to 3000 mcm, hydrolysed suberin is used as a binder in amount of 5 to 30 wt%. Hot pressing of formed carpet is carried out at temperature 135-145°C and pressure of 10 to 15 MPa with subsequent extraction of composite material and holding for 24 hours at air temperature 20±3°C.
EFFECT: improved heat- and sound-insulating properties of the obtained material.
