SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a polymer composition for making an article by injection moulding and can be used in construction materials, particularly in making floor coatings. Polymer composition for producing articles by injection moulding consists of a mixture of polymer wastes, cable industry wastes with a particle size of 0.5-3 mm are used as polyethylene wastes, the polyvinyl chloride wastes are linoleum wastes with particle size of 0.1-0.8 mm in the following proportions, wt.%: polyethylene wastes 30-70, polyvinyl chloride wastes 70-30. Invention also relates to a method of making an article by injection moulding from a polymer composition consisting of a mixture of polymer wastes.

EFFECT: improved elastic and strength characteristics, namely, increased strength and tensile modulus, reduced water absorption, as well as increased efficiency due to injection moulding.
