SUBSTANCE: invention relates to papermaking technology and concerns a multi-layer article made of sanitary paper and a method of its production. Includes at least two layers made from a basic sheet of sanitary paper, wherein at least one outer layer is a structured outer layer obtained by the fabrication method with the formation of the structure. Structured outer layer includes a microstructural pattern of at least about 80% of the surface of the structured outer layer, said microstructural pattern being applied by micro-embossing during the final processing operation. Structured outer layer is selected from the group of structured layers, which is the air-dried layer made using the air through-drying method (TAD); dried layer produced using advanced hygiene paper forming system (ATMOS); and dried layer made using sanitary paper structuring technology (SST). Microstructure pattern includes a first plurality of protuberances, where the density is from about 30 to 100 bulges per 1 cm2 wherein at least one additional layer is a wet-pressed layer, for the manufacture of which the conventional method of wet pressing of CWP is used, the additional layer also including a microstructure pattern. Softness property of the structured outer layer is regulated during the micro-embossing step.
EFFECT: invention provides increase in softness and plasticity of multi-layer products from sanitary paper, comprising both a structured layer, and a layer made by wet pressing, which also has a microtextured pattern.
