SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a guide device for movable furniture parts and is directed to increasing smoothness and noise-free coupling of the activator on a driver carrier. Guide device comprises a guide along which a carrier is movably mounted, wherein the carrier can be engaged together with an activator, in order to accelerate or retard a movable furniture part. Guide comprises one linear section and one angled section on which the activator can be engaged with or disengaged from the carrier. Guide device comprises a damping element, by which an impact of the carrier on the guide or on the housing is avoided. Damping element is provided on a transition between the angled section and the linear section.
EFFECT: increase smoothness and noise-free coupling of the activator on a driver.
