FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for the heated surface of an aircraft (FC) temperature determining and can be used in studies in the field of aerodynamics, ballistics, etc. Method includes video shooting of the investigated surface, investigated surface color image conversion into color components in digital form, comparison with their reference values by temperature in degrees and determination of the temperature on the aircraft surface by the corresponding reference values, which are obtained using video recording of the heated surface of the disc, made of a material similar to the material of the investigated aircraft surface by the value of the melting point and the surface roughness, in the mode corresponding to the aircraft surface shooting mode, with the subsequent image conversion into color components corresponding to the gray color gradation, depending on temperature changes, thermocouples mounted on the back of the disc relative to its surface, heated by an external heat source.
EFFECT: increase in accuracy and simplification of aircraft tests without changing its design, and for model tests conducted on aeroballistic routes: obtaining new data for heating of the compact AC surface during free supersonic flight.
