FIELD: measuring engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises video recording of the object image in infrared and/or visible spectrum of radiation. The color image of the object is decomposed into three color components: red, green, and blue. Each component is then transformed into the digital form. The digital values of the components are compared with the reference values in temperature for each element of the image and surface temperature is determined from the nearest reference values.
EFFECT: enhanced resolution.
