SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemical and pharmaceutical industry and is a method for preventing the disturbance of calcium metabolism in bone tissue caused by prolonged taking of glucocorticoids by oral administration of an agent having antiradical activity, characterized in that an anti-radical protection agent is an oil solution of a sulfur-containing antioxidant thio-phan-bis-[(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propyl] sulfide against glucocorticoid therapy.
EFFECT: invention provides a reduction in the level of bone matrix resorption and prevention of damage to bone tissue structural components during long-term administration of glucocorticoids.
