FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, specifically to an electrochemical generator, and can be used as a power source for portable equipment and as a battery charger for portable equipment. Portable hydrogen power source comprises a housing with a fuel cell stack with a replaceable source of hydrogen gas which, for example, is metal hydride hydrogen, and has a modular structure, configured for replacement of separate modules, to change the overall weight and power characteristics of the device. Hydrogen gas line in the power supply is made with a quick-disconnect magnetic or threaded connection and with an anode purge valve, and also comprises the control and regulating mode of operation of the fuel cell electronics.
EFFECT: improved output electrical characteristics of the power supply and creation of a simple and effective autonomous power source based on fuel cells.
